Restaurant Hapa is owned and operated by culinary team Brett and Nina Gardiner, both graduates of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute where they met in 1995. Chef Brett was born and raised on the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. The highlights of his career are the MGM Grand Las Vegas, Mary Elaine's at the Phoenician Resort Arizona and the original Six Tables Dunedin, Florida. Nina's resume includes Wolfgang Puck's, Chinois Las Vegas, Armanis at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay and Chef/Instructor at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute
